| Who here has the XBOX 360 Elite?  | | | |  Anyone ? Anyone?
We just got it today, a friend of ours offered to buy it for us, just as long as we pay him back. ( well duh! )
What I like about it:
It's black.
Wireless controller
120 Gigs
Few demos on it ( although the legos star wars one sucks )
What I don't like:
There was no GAME** that came with it.
Extra needed* accessories cost a pretty penny.
One controller ( don't like that with any game console )
* - as far as what I think is needed for a better experience.
** - what kind of crap is that? No f'ing game? It's four hundred dollars and they cough up a game? C'mon at least playstation 2 gave you a game. C'mon, you stingy punks!

| |  I don't really think the Elite is worth the price. The hard drive is the only really nice extra to it. The new premiums are coming out with the new chips that wont burn up, and I read on a message board I post at that they will even come equipped with HDMI. The no game thing I can understand, esp. since this generation of games are 60 bucks a pop. When I got my 360 *the ones that give you the red ring* I had won a game at Dave and Busters so that didn't really matter to me.
To me, if you're going to get an elite..just pay the extra 50 and get a ps3!!! No fanboyism involved..I just want one, and already have a 360.

| | Yes, I would of preferred the playstation 3 as well but this was my boyfriend's doing and his friend had only brought enough money for the Elite, so he got that.
We'll probably end up with a playstation 3 in the coming months. Just have to pay the Elite off and then save for the playstation 3.
I did at least have honey into wanting the ps3 but alas, we're stuck with the Elite for now. | | | |
