Weird Question, do you Brush you dog's teeth?  

Yup. I brush my dog's teeth. They can get really really bad cavaties and it can really affect their life if they get infections in their mouths.

This dog is a working dog, I am sure they have alot of money and training invested in him. I love my dogs, they are family to me. They just have dog breath, thats better then smelling like geese $hit, haha. Only your Marcie.

Yes, you can get beef and chicken flavored tooth paste from pet stores. Dogs need dental hygeine just like people do. They get cavities and plaque and periodontal disease just like people do.

You made me laugh about why you had to bathe the dog.. haaaa! Guess you won't let him off the leash again, will you?

Yes I do brush my pet dog's teeth. Just like us their teeth also need to be protected from cavities and it keeps them healthy also. Also your dogs breath will smell good. :-)

I guess it is a good idea, although I have never heard of a doggy dentist or a dog getting a cavity. I may be possible. And since they say now that oral problems in humans can cause heart disease, maybe it is the same for dogs.
I have heard of brushing a dogs teeth, but I have never personally done it. I think this is for people who are head over heels in love with their dogs.

You mean brushes her dogs teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste??? OMG that IS wierd! and IF she DOES use toothpaste is it some kind of dog brand from the pet store or something? I hope so cause human paste CAN'T be good for animals I'd think....

no I don't brush my dogs teeth but I use to have an older dog and his teeth started to fall out and he refused to eat soft food. The vet suggested that I give him a special dog food that helped with his teeth health. It worked but it makes sense b/c if your beloved pet loses his teeth and cant eat you will lose them but there are products that you can feed them to help out if you dont want to actually take a brush and brush their teeth. i will check out the website.

I never have that problem, well anyway, I passed by a chihuahua owner in Petsmart and she told me her dog had no teeth at all, that they get really bad cavities and lose their teeth and stuff. So I'm going to start brushing my two chihuahuas. We used to brush a shetland sheepland's teeth before, he didn't like it, but it's for the best.

You will be surprised to know that people are there who brush their dogs teeth, apply Krack cream for the cracks, apply Livon on the Afghan Hounds to detangle the hair,fed with the best of foods, chewies for him,nail clippers which are costlier than human clippers, varieties of combs, driers, you will be surprised even shavers for the dog.
You know, these pets don't eat the regular food, they prefer high funda foods only, if you feed them their choice they will eat if not they don't eat also.
If at all you can afford only then go in for a pet otherwise don't even think of it, maintaining these p-ets is costlier than human beings.
They want Air Conditioners and cannot withstand without that.
Think before you go in for one.

I do not brush my dog's teeth, but my aunt used to brush her dog's teeth! The dog loved having its teeth brushed. Vets actually say that we should brush our dog's teeth, afterall, they get caries, gingivitis and other mouth/teeth disorders jsut as humans do. I suppose one would have to start the habit of brushing when the dog was a pup...as to try and do it out of the blue to an adult dog could have disasterous outcomes!
