I have heard two tracks off their new disc. I heard them at DuranDuran.com. I liked both of them. To me it still sounds like the Duran Duran that I grew up loving with a more up-to-date sound thanks to Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. I really like Timbaland so I think anything that he collaborates with Duran Duran on, will most likely be a hit. Justin Timberlake....well, I didn't like most of his early stuff but the last few things I have heard from him, I actually like. So, I am sure that his collaborations with Duran Duran will also be good.
The only Duran Duran disc I didn't love was Big Thing. I still bought it though. I love Duran Duran too much NOT to buy anything they put out. I am really looking forward to Red Carpet Massacre and my hubby already promised to buy it the day it drops.

I think I like "Falling Down" more, to be honest. I'm hoping they have continued success. They are a great band. The music can be heard on duranduran.com. I missed them on the emmeys though...bummer...:(

Well I have actually heard three of their new songs, all of which were listed in duranduran.com. Falling down is fantasitic, Skin Divers is has a great beat to it, and Night Runner was also a really good dance hit too! :) I did try to watch the Emmy's myself, but never did manage to see them at all on tv, and frankly I wonder if the band was ever shown on tv? Not really sure. And I also am hope to go see duran duran when they all tour again this winter too. I just hope that things will actually work out ok. And as for their past albums, I have to say that all of them were pretty good, even Liberty which never did get the correct exposure that it should have. Duran Duran are the best! :D

I thought it was ok, but not their best. I still like their stuff from Rio and Seven and the Ragged Tiger. I know it is a little old, but it still is them at their best in my opinion. I am glad that they are still going on after all these years, but I definately want to hear the Rio music at a concert not a lot of this.

I think I'm going to have to get use to it. I like Night Rider. I'm going to see them in December in Texas. It's going to be fun to relive those Duranie times...Should be fun... Get to see Simon up close...know what I mean....LOL.

Oh yeah I forgot to answer that first question silly me. I actually love Justin Timberlakes music too, and I have always loved listening to his stuff rather in a band or not. And Justin always did remind me of a young 1983 Simon in many ways, and yes, I did watch Timberlake's concert that was on demand and on hbo too, hum, about 6 times altogether I guess! And if I did not know any better, I would say that Justin could actually pass as Simon's kid! You can't really get a better compliment then that, if you know what I mean?? I just hope you will agree with me on this too. :) Thanks for asking Sheribabe! Your Rock!!! :D
