do you like scary or gore more?

Oh! 100% I prefer to be scared rather than be grossed out! I absolutly HATE gore in movies, when there is gore I close my eyes! lol. I much rather prefer good, clean terror and suspsense!

I hate how filmmakers today just worry about having the bloodiest movies, not the more creative scriest movies.

ONE of my favorite horror movies (it's hard for me to pick a true favorite) Is Halloween. It isn't really gory and Michael Myers is just so creepy!

All the remakes of horror movies I've seen recently are big disappointments. Black Christmas was really bad, too much gore compared to the original (which showed it was not necesary). I haven't seen it yet but the remake of Halloween...it is rated R for gore, graphic nudity, violence, language, etc! The original didn't need any of that to be a good movie!

There are also a couple of remakes that I did enjoy, and that's because they didn't add a bunch of blood, guts and boobs! lol. They were the remakes of The Hitcher and When A Stranger Calls.

I prefer a comedy type one LOL! Like scary movie 1,2 and so on! I like to laugh and thats why I love it! However when it comes to a scary movie I will choose a really scarry one since then I will have my wife beside me and holding me throughout the night LOL

i like scary movie more. i like to be scared because it makes my imagination run wild. LOL i like gore movies too but sometimes i just cant stand it. like the movie "the hills have eyes 2". i wanted to throw up at some parts of the movie.^__^;;

I dont like the movies like Saw or hostle. Yes, they are gore and it is very uneasy to see such things on the screen.
I like scary movies but they have to be sensible and not gore.
One of the favourite movies i like is the Silence of the Lambs. Its of genre horror/crime/mystery etc.

ohhh this is just soo easy for me lol..Im all about being scared!! theer is nothi9gn better to me than watch a movie and hold my hands over my eyes withthat little peak threw the pointer finger and middle..lol..i dont know what it is about me..i have always had a thing even when i was young..i just love scary!! Kolobos..that was a great older flick..i think its an early 90's? and i watch them without lights on lol..get the full effect ya know lol..but as gore..ehh depends on the movie..love the SAW movies..not soo much HOSTEL..Love Mikey,Freddy,jason..and lets nor forget Pinhead..my man!! lol..i wish they would fine a new modern Freddy.,.new guy..its time..And as for Halloween..and the new moviue coming out..I have noo doubt in my mind,,,that it will rock..Rob Zombie is making it..and lets face it..house of 1000 corpses..AWESOME!!!!and everything else hes done..im so excited!! lol..but yea..thats me!!:)

I'll take whatever I can get! I love horror! I think my favorite are the Saw movies because they have done things never seen before. I actually would prefer to be scared out of my skin, but there just seems to be a shortage of really scary movies. Most directors go for either the cheap thrills or the blood and guts. I watched several of the Japanese horror movies and they are different from the US ones. They have a very creepy element that the US is missing. I bought the Horrorfest 8 Films to Die For and I have to say that Resurrection was my favorite even though I had to read the subtitles. It was just really creepy. I do want to see the new Halloween that just came out and all, but I would love to see a genuinely scary movie.

I know I would like scary movies, but whatever I watch just doesn't scare me. I enjoy suspense movies/thrillers for example "Sleeping with the enemy", but I wouldn't consider it as scary. I have watched alot of gore movies, they don't really affect me. I have seen all 3 final destinations (I'm looking forward to final destination 4!), all 4 saw movies, and hostel 1. Hostel seemed to be the most goriest movie, but I didn't enjoy watching it that much. Ghost/Supernatural movies never used to scare me, but now they sorta do, so I will watch more of them.

So to answer your question I like scary movies, even though I mostly watch gory ones, and my favourite movie is Final Destination 3.

i like scary movie that makes you jump and scream....gory movie just wanna make you throw up...although with CSI NEW YORK and CSI LAS VEGAS...the gorrier the episode is the better!!!!!
