Oh my, that is scary. I am so happy that you didn't get hurt. I used to have a Buick Century. The car would stop whenever it took a notion to do it. We couldn't igure the problem out. My neighbor who had a similar problem solved it for us. There is a plug for a senser, the senser tells the transmission something, he unplugged the plug and I never had troubles after that. I have another car that was giving us fits, the problem turned out to be a senser for the brain, it was a $20 part. We also fixed everything we could think of, and the problem kept happening. Don't you just hate cars. They are a neccessary evil. Can't live with them and can't live without them. Good luck on finding a good car, or finding out the problem with your Buick.

My Ex boyfriend's car would do the same thing. It would die for no reason. Every time he took the car to the shop it never acted up. He had so much replaced on it and finally had to get a different car because he was afraid of getting into an accident with it. I think it is some defect coming from the factory. His was a Buick also, but I don't remember the model. I am glad you are safe grandmaof2. Thank God you are okay. You might need to get a different car. That is dangerous.

Before you get the Kia make sure to read owner reviews on them. I have heard repeatedly of dissatisfaction. Breaking down parts, noises, unsolvable problems etc. They are made in Korea and the makers do not care to resolve issues.

very happy can hear your story,it sounds very goog.i do not the vehicle,because i just the unversity graduated,i will come from chinese here to graduate later to want own again to work buy the vehicle and the house.here transportion is not very unimpeded,therefore i thought rides the bike manely to have the exercise body quickly,ha-ha.looked your story,knew you love your car very much,i think it definited also extremely loves you,wishs you happy daily all.

I am so glad you did not get hurt from this episode. Buicks seem to be the vehicle of choice for a lot of people. My moms was a 94 LeSabre and she didn't have a spot of trouble with it. As far as I know, one of my nieces is still driving it. But you are absolutely correct to find another car before this one causes a devastating accident. Good luck with your car search. I ended up getting a Jeep Liberty that I really really like...have you looked at those?

Wow my heart sunk a thousand beats when i read that wow wow one thing for certain you must have a good ticker what a story anyhow it reminds what my daughter tells me and it certainly applies to you...I have Cancer stage IV and i have had it since 2005 ..never had pain ..never side effects and my life is like it was before i have what my brain doesnot tell me i have ..anyhow the line that is for both of us my daughter says "Dad it was not meant to be and god has more for you to take care before he calls ..his plan is in force and he knows many still need you and you have many more things that need to be done before you are called ..so live it and have joy for the all loving wonderful God looking over your life
