OK so there is a cricket in my house for about 4 days now. He is right in the hallway outside my bedroom. The only thing is I can only hear him I have not seen him yet. But I'll tell you what I wish I could find him. He has been driving me nuts at night and I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to deal with it. I wonder if there is any way for me to get him to come out of hiding? He is going to drive me insane if I dont get rid of him. Please someone help me!!!!!!!!

Some cultures belive crickets in the house or on the hearth are good luck. LOL now if you can just get it to not sing at night it would be OK. I have not ideas to make him come out in the opening. Sorry

I am with you! I have a cricket in my closet, lol, and I can't catch him! I was down on the floor yesterday crawling after him and he would keep jumping in the other direction, hmmm outsmarted by a cricket. He is an annoying little pest and I wish he would just leave my closet!

LOL--- I hate crickets and the sounds they make- I don't know how to coax him out- I guess I'd just look in the direction you hear his noises- and then try to find hi and squash him- How annoying that must be!

agh! i know exactly how you feel, gets to the point where you want to pull your hair out! last month we got invaded by crickets. ive never had more than 1 or 2 show up in the house during this time of year, but this year i was finding at least 4 or 5 a DAY!! still dont know how they were getting inside. luckily our dogs would hunt them down when they started making noise at night, but other than having a cat or a dog i cant think of anything that would drive it away. maybe you will get lucky and it will die soon!
