A year ago today September 4th was the tragic accident on Batt Reef off Port Douglas at 11.18am that claimed steve Irwins life.... I remember when I heard the News I bursted out in tears of shock and disbelief. No How could this have happend... The news of his death shocked the world and I think no-one ever would have thought this is how it would happen... and still so young.. He is still sadly missed by many and will be rememberd always as the real aussie "Crocodile Hunter". ....Rest in Peace steve.... Anybody eles would like to share their thoughts Please do

I saw his wife and daughter on Oprah show they were visiting America and I liked their spirit and courage. They are carrying on the work of steve and not grievingf over his loss but living a life to fulfill the dreams he had dreamed up. It was touching and I wanted to salute them both for that. They are both great ladies.

I have lost my both parents at an early age and sometimes I wonder if we had a web cam and we could have recorded them back then, it would have been nice to see them speaking and talking. Its so wonderful that they can do that. He is in a way still with them and shall remain so. They are both really very courageous people.

Sad in deed. I also liked him. But, his daughter is doing an awesome job in following in her fathers footsteps. She is amazing! Just like her daddy!

He is still missed and it's lovely to see his family carry on his legacy. Really , what choice do they have? I watched Bindi's show the other day with film of her as a baby and a toddler, loving her beautiful snakes, and, later, as she was a little older, loving her baby brother Bob. This is a wonderful family...it's still hard to believe he's gone. Last night the last show of his was aired about his last crocodile hunt. Teri did a fantastic job with this documentary and I love the fun and lightheartedness that she and Steve brought to even the most serious of issues they were teaching us. RIP Steve.

yes i remeber the steve as the australian born crocodile expert.its sad he end up his life with a bite of a sting ray rather than a crok. he is a very dilligent and interesting host in shows i used to watch him in animal planet especially those documentary made for different animal life. the world again remember the glory, fame and stardom of this good man. may he rest in peace.
