Would you allow a disease to be named after you?

If it was discovered that you had the first recorded incidence of a rare new disease that was yet unnamed, would you allow scientists or doctors to "name it" after you?

I think so. I have some pretty rare diseases and it isn't like it is my fault that I have it. Plus they have to name it SOMETHING. Not the most prestigious way to be remembered but at least you are remembered.

Sure, why not? But I'd prefer it if they let me PICK the name..."What did the doctor say you had?""Whoopsadaisyitus!"
