Why do younger men want to date older women?

Maybe you look younger than you are. I know some men don't like younger women because they just don't act mature enough for them. An older woman has more to offer, such as life experience, security and yes, maybe a little motherly nurturing that younger women seem to lack. I personally would go for it. Maybe not the 30's age bracket but definitely the 40's and 50's age bracket if you are in your 60's. Life is too short, you never know unless you try:)

No, naty, I don't think that is the reason at all. Many younger men find older women more attractive because they are stable, not into playing games like some of the young ones, and they also have a wealth of experience in life. I'm not saying that these relationships always work out, but that can be true no matter what the ages of the people who are involved are. My two most meaningful relationships have been with men who were 9 and 11 years younger than I. I didn't seek out younger men(as I am sure they were not looking for an older woman), it just turned out that way. I think that if you are attracted to someone and enjoy their company age should not be a factor. Sometimes we just have to go for it.(:

I am 44 and my husband just turned 30.I often had asked him before we were married about thid.His answer was simply,"Older woman seem to know what hey want"When I was dating younger woman they just were playing games with me"I don't know if this is correct.But he is the best thing that ever happened to me.As for a mother figure?He is the sole provider and even supports my son.Who at this time is out of work.So I can't say he was looking for a woman to take care of him.

men just like to be taken care of, some may not openly admit or show it. the wanting or need to be taken care of is the same for men and women. when i was young, i attract a lot of women older than i was. now that i am older (wiser...LOL!), i am attracting the younger set.
i say, older people give affection with a twist, more genuine, more sincere, more responsive, more in magnitude....
i sense that there something wonderful inside you that radiates that young men can't resist.
