Sorry, but none of those point to anything like the commonly understood concept of The Rapture. Are you a Jew by birth or do you call yourself a Messianic Jew because it's en vogue? The reason I ask is that there is no way that someone who reads and understands the Bible as it would have been read and understood by its original audience would ever look at any of those verses and see anything about a rapture.

I just answered your question if there was a hint in the direction of a rapture, I am not trying to explain to you, Perry Stone does that better than I do, and the theory of Rapture iritates some people, such as the Bible Answer Man, I sorry I bother you, you can decline my offer as a friend, I know you just don't like Jews, who believe in Yashua, and feel I am lying about every thing, we Jews seem to get persecuted for being Jewish, so did the KKK, Nazi's, Muslims, and I guess half the world for that matter, we just go our way, I know not matter what I say you will disagree with, because you think differently than I do, it's ok you live in the United States, I live in Hawaii, not part of the United States, separate culture, we see things differently and you choose to disagree with me, it's OK

Matt 24:40 is about the best text you gave. I think there are two ways of seeing this and the way you are seeing it, if I am understanding you, is that without any warning someone beside you could all of a sudden disappear. Many people do believe that is what is going to happen. However, many others believe that we shall see Christ coming in the heavens and every eye is going to see what is happening. Some of the text you mention tells what is happening. The dead in Christ will rise and ascend up to Christ and then those who have Christ righteous robe (proverbial) on them will ascend. From some of the text you listed, you looks like those who aren't going to be saved are those who are crying for the rocks and mountains to fall on them. How am I doing with the text you mentioned

I believe in the post trib, after the saints of God defeat the devil, then Christ will return, 1Corth. 15:23-28, this was what I was taught by Watchman Nee. Now Perry Stone talks about Rapture and first fruits, 1Coth. 15:20 Jesus being the first fruit. My understanding is that the Holy Spirit will give you the strength to endure the Tribulation, for he sent the Comforter to his people, and those who are Spirit filled, will endure long suffering, birth pains of the Messiah. The Mosiac law says all saints shall be behead for not taking the mark, Rev.19 :4, I guess my question is who will not take the mark of the beast? Perry Stone belives in Pre-Tribulation, and he explains that in his DVD. I don't know if he is right, but he is a scholar of Hebrew teaching which I am not, I am just a servant of Yashua, saying to his people get ready we are going up!

hi, Goinliveinfive, here's how I've come to see it "immediately aFter the tribulation of those days.. they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds with great glory.. I will send out my angels to gather the elect from the four corners of the world" (that of course is the four directions/winds). Matthew 24:29-31
- Acts 1:19 tells how the angels, as the disciples were waTching Jesus go up.. said "why are you looking up into heaven? Just as you saW Him go into heaven, so shall He return in the same manner" - Also, they were on the Mt of Olives, and Zechariah 14:4 says He returns to the Mt of Olives.
- "He comes with angels and in fire.. to rescue from the ungodly.." [2 Thessalonians 1:7]. So I'm thinking when He comes, and the fire 'comes down'-(a figure of speech) - as the fire 'goes down' the believers go up, and meet Him, then His feet touch down upon the Mt of Olives, "and so shall we ever be with the Lord".
- And then there's this, in 1 Thessalonians 4 (is that 15 and 16?) "the dead in Christ will rise first, then we which are alive and remain will rise with them and meet the Lord in the air.. and so shall we ever be with the Lord, but the living will not precede the dead." And remember Jesus always said to those who believed "I will raise you on the *last* day".
- Matthew 24 also says, if He didn't "cut short" the day, no flesh would survive. And at the very end of the book of Daniel, chapter 12, verses 11 and 12, tell us when it occurs - (three and a half Hebrew years after Israel's "daily sacrifice" is "taken away" / carried away, demolished.. Where, or at what, does Israel offer daily prayers? Compare this to Matthew 24:1 and 2. Well, anyway, Daniel wrote that three and a half years after they carry off Israel's "daily sacrifice" they will "set-up" the "abomination of desolation" which is surely the 666 abomination, and will be first set up in Israel (I'm thinking). and, Daniel said "blessed is he who makes it to 45 days later". And why will such a one be blessed on that day?
- Revelation 2, in the Lord's letter to the church of Smyrna (2:10) says "you shall have tribulation 10 days". I figure no one will be able to buy or sell for 45 days, and the last ten of those days will be when it escalates to "w/o the mark you will be executed" (by beheading). But "blessed/happy is the one who keeps waiting and comes to the 45th day."
- I almost forgot, 1 Corinthians 15:51,52 says the resurrection of the dead believers occurs "at the last trump"et. Now if that isn't at the seventh trump(et) of the Book of Revelation / Apocalypse.. then it's later than that, for it's at the LaSt trumpet. And the "seven bowls" are in (therefore are) the last trumpet.. and are the fire Christ returns in.. (also note Rev 16:14-16, and how 15 is tucked right in between 14 and 16. And also remember how the Book of Revelation goes back and forth between 'scenes', and what may be seen to be consecutive, is actually concurrent..
