Hollywood isn't as great as you may perceive it to be.
I spent almost a week there last December. I stayed only a short walk from Hollywood Boulevard (the star walk of fame and where the Chinese theatre is located). The Hollywood sign was also visible from my hotel.

It's kind of run down and dirty. There's always the odd homeless person about, and when walking anywhere, you're bound to pass one or more of them.

I saw Justin Timberlake on Hollywood Blvd. my first night there. I'm not a fan, but it was kind of exciting.

On the whole though, Hollywood isn't how you imagine it to be. The only reason I'd ever want to go back is for the theme parks like Universal Studios.

Iam from india and i would like to visit U.S.Once with my family. my brother who is there in US talks a lot about U.s. and my brother-in-law is also there, just thought of visiting the place once but do not know when that time will come for me.

this is one of the places i'd like to visit too.^__^ it would be nice to see my favorite hollywood celebrities like jennifer aniston, hugh grant, bruce willis, and of course brandon routh! I like him too! he was so handsome in superman returns! there's so many actors I wanna see plus I like to watch some tapings and shootings. that would be so much fun!^__^
