How many pots and pans do you use to prepare dinner?

Well my husband lost a bet and has to do dishes for 3 months, so if you ask him way too many lol. I try to use only two if I can get away with it. It is true though, that I am like a tornadoe in the kitchen, always making a huge mess.

As I'm a student, a tend to try to make something simple. So I usually use one pan for potatoes or rice, another pan for frozen vegetables, and a frying pan for meat. I could probably get away with fewer pans if I simplified my meals a bit, but I'm not sure if I could let any part of my meal go;)

I do enjoy cooking elaborate meals sometimes, but my favorites are one dish meals like chili, lasagne, mac and cheese. I also like doing au gratin potatoes and add chicken right in with it to make it a one dish meal. I prefer to spend more time enjoying the meal than cleaning up after it.

I am big on one pot dinners. I have a nesco cooker and it is used at least 3 times a week. It is like a crockpot, but I like it so much better! Last night it was pizza subs for dinner, so that was very easy. Tonight is tacos, tomorrow chicken in the nesco. I am not one to use many pots and pans to make a dinner~ too much clean up.

in most days, i only use two pots, one for rice and the other for meat and vegetables..when hubby is home, i prepare two dishes, aside from rice, then i'll be using more pots, and i agree, its messy... but i have help.. so its ok, i cook and the helper clean the kitchen... lol

I normally just use one to two pots when cooking. I like to try to keep things as simple as possible. The most I'll use is three and that's when I'm baking something along with what I'm cooking on the stove.

I always use 2 pots.My favorite ones,for the cooking on the stove thing,like vegetables in one and noodles/potatoes/rice or something in the other.I bake alot of my food and use my favorite 12 inch round pizza pan lined with tin foil for the oven,its one i got from the pizza place when i worked there.Its just the right thickness not to burn or over cook food in.My grill i like too.He,he.

well througout the week mon-friday i do the cooking, at dinner time my husband isnt home he is at work so it is just myself and my daughter i have to cook for, so on those nights i will preaprae quick fix dinners like you.. tacos, sloppy joes,spaghetti, grilled cheese mac and cheesefrozen pizzas, chicken nuggets.. pretty much what ever she wants that night... but on the weekends or nights that my husband will be home, i will make dinner dinners like pork chops ( one pan) mashed potatoes ( 2 pans) corn on the cob ( 3 pans) rolls (cookie sheet.pan) LOL and then on sunday he makes a huge mess cooking because he uses the deep fryer and all that other good stuff... i dont mind doing dishes with just cooking for my daughter and i i wouldnt have to do dishes more than twice a week before it started over flowing. but on the weekedns i literally do the dishes like 5 times with him being home.. lol

I don't use a lot espically since I have not been eating a lot of starch with the foods I cook. I have only been cooking meat and vegtables. I use about 2 pans.

Through the week I generally use 2 pans-one for the main dish and one for the side. On weekends when my husband is home to help with our daughter, I like to experiment with new recipes so it's nothing for me to dirty up a whole sink full of dishes before I'm done.
