Incompetent help!

I am very very upset here.
As most of you know I have been waiting for Doctor to call me back to set up operation day.
I had called early last Thrusday morning and talked to who I thought was Doctors nurse.
Well as it turned out I called back yesterday to find out what doc had said hey it has been 5 days now!
WEll the gal I talk to asked me who I had talkt o on Thrusday . I didnt have a name but come to find out whom ever I talked to had NOT sent fax to the other office and Doctor HADNT got my message that I wanted it all cut off.
So Here I still set with no way of knowing what is going on.
Darn wished I had got the other gals name I bet she wouldnt have a job today!
I just hate it when a worker that is surpose to do this kind of work just dont follow up with what they are asked to do . What about y'll?

That is very unfortunate for you Lakota. I too am still waiting for my results. I called on tuesday and the office wasn't open. Called on wednesday and got the busy signal all day. I call on thursday got the receptionist and she said that if there was a problem they would have called. When I pressed her she checked my file and said that the people who did the ultrasound hadn't sent them the results yet and if there was a problem they would have rushed the results. Both offices are about 10 min away from eachother so I don't see what the delay is. Anyways she said I should hear from them on friday (sept 7.) I'm still waiting.
My boyfriend never speaks to anyone on the phone until he gets their name and extension. It used to annoy me but now I see what the benefits are. I hope you get your information soon.

Thanks for your hugs and blessings. If you have to wait outside their offices you should do that. I don't see what the delay is for them to get anything done.

That stinks- I hope this lady gets the information correct- I mean the sooner the better right? When dealing with cancer- Everyone is entitled to make mistakes- but people should follow through on simple orders- of faxing things and getting the right surgery scheduled.

It is upsetting when they don't do what they say. I have problems with that just about everytime we have something going on with my son. I understand that they see lots of people, but it is awful when you're supposed to go for a procedure and it seems that they can't get it together. It is hard to put my son into their hands when it seems that they are so unorganized. It makes you wonder if everything will go the way it is supposed to.

I know the feeling was the same way when hubby found out he had bladder cancer and the uroligist that was his got let go by the Insurance company his nurse was to find a new doctor for us we waited 2 months after calls and calls I finally had to do it myself then have reg. doc send a recommend for that doc and hubby was to have stent replace every 3 months.We barely made it after the 3 month and he got it replaced. I was so mad then I wanted to go shake the h*ll out of that nurse1

I am sure they will find out who the girl was and reprimand her for not doing her job. They always do in situations like this. They cannot hide for long.

Oh Sweetheart how frustrating and upsetting for you! I can understand how that would make you feel! I am very fond of stating the observation that we are all human and will make mistakes but in this type of environment they really should make sure that they don't mess up! Keeping you still in my heart and prayers sweety! xxx

It seems to me that they are getting very careless and they do not care that they are playing with Peoples Lifes here
It is terrible how bad they are getting and we are suppose to trust them I am so sorry that you have to go through this and I really hope that it will now be sorted

That's atrocious!. I would be very distressed if this happened to me ...I can't believe that woman would treat you and your message to the dr so offhandedly....this is a big frickin' deal going on here. What a stoopid person!1
I hope you receive an apology but somehow or other i don't think you will.
Try and think forward to the time when all this crap will be behind you and you can move on with serenity in your life again. Love and hugs to you mate.

well I sort of got one to the gal I talked to yesterday If I just could remeber the name of the first one I talked to I bet she would get a good reeming. and Janet said she was so sorry this happened and would do her best to keep me up to date as soon as she gets paper work back on her desk.

I have found it happening more and more. I do complain to the supervisors -- which sometimes upsets the doctors, but oh, well! If I can get them to clean up their act then perhaps the mistakes won't be so often and not severe, either.
I really don't know how people in their 80's who have to schedule things and deal with incompetent staff get thru it. As bad as it can be for us, it must be horrible for them!!
