Threats against Britney and Madonna  

very disturbing indeed! just ignore this 'gimmick' and let the authority handle this serious case. we have lots of better things to think and worry about.

This is extremely frightening and disturbing! having said that there are many fanatics from many walks of life that say and write horrible 'predictions' or threats but usually they are just mentally ill in the extreme! Lets hope that this is just another idle threat! xxx

And this is soon to be the world-wide religion of choice? Sorry, but this religion is not supported by any God that would demand forceful joining at the threat of death. They will have to kill me before I would support it. Just another example of the hatred and violence that world religions cause and have caused for centuries.

OMG! That is so crazy to treaten someone life because of beliefs. I did not hear anything about this I am assuming the writer is refering to the kiss? Treatening to cut someones head off is a satanic message.

You know there are many sides to this. For one, it's a religious extremiest much like thatm that causes havec in other regions because of their belief. I do think it was pretty stupid to be in a book because, well, you know who's making the treats.

Then, you have the over enflated Hollywood that creates or publishes the gossip or so called news so the hungry public gets their dirt. This isn't and never has been the image of the US; however, our great states are catagorized as being a public of nonmorals and pleasure seeking people. All this because of the dirt in the magazines and headline that come from hollywood.

Yes these threats are disturbing, but really, that doesn't surpirse me when you have these people that are supposed to be icons or celebrities getting the headlines for the self distructive things they do.

Madonna has come a long way from the 80's in forms of style and performance. I wonder if she would have even been included in that book if that kiss wouldn't have taken place.

What a sick, gross world of entertainment. Before any responses are made, this does not state that they deserve these threats. It does state that if you do have a certain postion for your job or career, then wouldn't you want the best image possible to help promote your career?
