This is a documentary I just finished watching about the "West Memphis Three"...three teens who were convicted for brutally murdering three 8 yr old boys in West Memphis back in 1993....I have to say that OMG I REALLY believe they were WRONGLY convicted!....There is follow up documentary called Paradise Lost 2: Revelations that I'm HOPEFULLY goin to have by Sat from netflix and I'm VERY curious to see what happens in that one...as it stands right now though, none of the so called evidence adds up..not at all.. As usual, here is the Netflix summary of the movie: "Shedding light on the legal system -- and on the media machine that often demonizes the accused -- this gripping documentary follows the notorious West Memphis Three, a trio of boys arrested for the murders of three children found in a creek bed. Appearing on many critics' year-end Top 10 lists for 1996, this film from directors Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky also won the National Board of Review's prestigious prize for Best Documentary." Has anyone seen this? If not and you are familiar with the case or interested in this sort of documentary I HIGHLY recommend it! I was TOTALLY blown away by it...granted I didnt know much about the case though I was familiar with it/recall it from back then but being in Canada, Ontario more specifically I was caught up in the Holmolk/Bernardo case at that time.....This documentary REALLY makes you wonder about the system....Definately a must see IMO.. any thoughts?

HBO did a great job with both versions - they aired them several times and helped to promote their situation. The website for the WM3 is updated about once a week with info about the situations and where they are in their legal matters. My money is on Mr Beyers, that man has GUILTY written ALL over him.

That sounds very interesting!! I will add it now to our Netflix list! I don't remember anything about the case though...I guess being 13 at the time and the fact that since Desert Storm I've hated watching the news...LOL

I still can't find the first one on Netflix :( I did have the first one here but I'm refinishing my kitchen cabinets and I don't have the time to watch it right now so I sent it back this morning. I will keep looking for the first though and I will one day watch them :) The stuff you found out about the DNA was awesome! It makes me watch to watch it even more. Thanks for that info!

Hello Ravenladyj, I am in UK, I must say this sounds really interesting to watch. I am just wondering if it has been released at all here? I love watching documentaries. If you do get to see the next part I would love to know how it all ends. I am following the Madeleine McCann case loosely at the minute. Have you heard of it, I would amazed if not. The family are really trying to push the information world wide just in case she is still alive. If you have heard, what are your thoughts about it, I would be very interested to hear. x
