I had the What to Expect When Your Expecting. I'm not a big fan of it. I do like their spinoff book called What to Eat When Your Expecting. It was very helpful. My favorite pregnancy book is Pregnancy Week By Week. A+ book

I'm a midwifery student, so I've read dozens of them now. I love Ina May Gaskin's books; one is called "Spiritual Midwifery" which is geared more towards midwives but I think most expecting moms would enjoy it just the same. I can't remember what the other is called, that's geared more towards women & families. The other I really love- oh damn, let me go grab it so I can make sure I have the name right..."Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper. Are you expecting now or have you already had your baby? If you're still expecting & there is some specific area you're curious about, I'd be happy to suggest some other books too.
