OK Vashstampede;
Have your rest, nothing to do with myLot. For me I don't feel bore because I'm on target basis. 30 posting/day then I take my rest. To maintain my daily 'racer". Rest a while, and when you feel the 'kick', come back here.
Not just you today, last 4 hours it happened to webeishere(Grandpa Bob). OK happy day for you!!!

well yeah I feel sometimes same like you, just bored.I looked over all the discussion and it seems like none of them intereted me and I nothing to respond. But then later one I find some good discussion from my friends and it starts over and over.
I can tell you why you feel lazy.Sometimes the same discussion are here over and over and it could be stereotype for you.

A good question! Ten months ago, when I joined myLot I would have laughed at such a suggestion. There were more discussions than you could possibly reply to, and most discussions received a hundred responses, some many hundreds.
Unfortunately that isn't the case now. Now it is a matter of churning through page after page after page and not being able to find something to respond to.
I don't spend much time here now, since joining a site I consider much better. The basis there is friendship and mutual encouragement and there is always something to talk about at various levels.
I still drop in here occasionally, mainly to keep up with the friends who are still here, and sometimes I stumble on a discussion worth replying to.

Oh sure it does. It's normal. The trick is to keep at it. Or take a break for a day and come back later. It happens after a person has been here a while. But you'll probably regain your enthusiasm. I know I've been tired of MyLot before, but I always come back.

yeah it's normal. Despite of some boredom we feel here sometimes, the good thing is we still willing to come back here. Thanks for the response Amber!

yeah, I admit,it does happens to me too sometimes, althoguh I am a self confessed mylot addict, there were days that I just feel bored or lazy or whatever,I sit in front of the PC and try to write and respond but stiil there is the feeling of boredom..
Maybe that happens when I am so tired and exhausted..or sometimes when I feel that I'm running out of topics to respond to. But I never will get tired of logging in mylot.

yeah as a matter of fact there are times when i do feel bored in mylot. like i wanna respond to discussions but i'm so lazy to do so and don't feel like doing it. sometimes you find that the discussions are all the same and stuff, and that makes you feel even more bored, i guess. .

Yeah, even sometimes, responding to those discussions that talks about the same thing all over and over again and again is easy but really doesn't make any sense of responding to those at all.
And it may lead to boredom somehow here.
Thanks for the response!

I have been VERY bored the last couple of days. I answered one discussion on Wed and on Thur I started one discussion. I made 5 cents in 2 days. I just couldn't seem to get my brain to function nor my fingers to hit the keys on my keyboard. I took a day and a half off & I think I may be able to do something here today. MAYBE!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Sometimes it's hard to find stuff to respond to; what really sucks is when you see the same topics over and over or the people that can't think of something original to post so they copy what others have added to the site. I haven't been all that active the past few weeks but I am hoping that I'll get back into the swing of things soon.

I've seen many posts here that obviously been copied from others, and what worst thing is that, even the title has been copied also. Geezzzzzzz!
Thanks for the response buddy!

I only do when the same topics keep coming up over and over again. I can't get over how many people ask the same things. I am sure I probably have started topics which already were ongoing but I am going to be more careful about that.
I feel like I am answering the same things lately so I have been skipping discussions where I already answered a question or gave a viewpoint in the last couple of days.
Otherwise, no, it's fun to read about different cultures and different preferences.

I think it depends on the actual purpose you join this community. If it's for money, than I guess you will get bored sooner than later because of the small amounts you generated even after posting hundreds of posts, but if the reason is to know new people and learn new things, you will not get bored easily. Just my 2 cents

yes has happened to me a couple of times since I joined. I have taken two breaks from it so far. Never fails though I always end up coming back. You get to missing it after awhile so I never delete all the contacts and trails that lead to here. I have met some really nice people here and have gotten some really good advice. But yes a person can get bored and thats when you need to take a day or two away.

yes i do sometimes.i was excited in all the discussions when i joined in mylot before, but as the time goes on,i find something boring in some discussions, maybe few of mylotters here just for the extra money and post many boring discussions.of course, most discussions are worth to response.
