When a movie is made about a comic book character like
Superman or Spiderman will this greatly increase the sales of the comic books where they originate from?

Well I am not sure about all of them. But I seen this thing on spiderman that the comic sales went up, after the movies had come out. So i am guessing that they do, but not quite sure really.

I grew up with comics sree, and I know that they were
making screen adaptations of comics for decades.I am
a diehard comics fan and I know almost everything about this genre.I am pleased that you and your friends are now fans and are subscribing to these comics.Comics are a fun way to read,I think it is a

No, they do not. Because people don't go, "Wow that was an awesome movie with Batman in it, I'm going to go buy his series", they say "that was a great movie" and leave it at that. Now when there is a specific story done, like Watchmen, the sales do go up, because it's just one story to read, kind of like reading the book before watching the movie. But not so much when it comes to longer series like Batman, Spiderman, and the like.
