If I had children in school, this would be the final straw to make me pull them out and homeschool. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about this...although I would push to homeschool my niece and nephew if this becomes a problem in the schools here. Thankfully it hasn't yet. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

What a can of worms this opens up. Anyone with an opinion on anything will soon need to be represented. You could be a family who believes that discipline is all to do with violence and everyone else would have to tolerate that belief. You could belive that being armed is a basic right so you can protect yourself and your belief would have to be accepted. It's hard enough teaching kids the difference between right and wrong...what happens if there is NO right and wrong? What happens if we are forced into living in a world where anything goes? No rules, no laws, simply because some have different beliefs or don't agree with the mainstream idea of right and wrong?

yup it sure does and sometimes I feel like it is happening now as parents dont correct their kids for being afaid of losing them or landing in jail. Discipline starts at home and it sould continue!

They do not allow *gays* to get married, but they are allowing this? They cannot have both sides of the street, but they are taking both.

I'm all for teaching kids tolerance, absolutely for it. There is entirely too much intolerance around. But I have a feeling that they are going about it the wrong way! Somehow I don't think this bill will pass any better than their first try. I actually got a good laugh out of that article. I had this funny image in my head of walking up to my mother and saying "Hi, partner 1, I've missed you." and then walking over to my stepdad, give him a big hug and saying "Hi, partner 2 1/2!" I guess that's what we'd have to call step parents? Of course ya know their is going to be a big argument about who is #1 and who is #2. People will always find something to argue about! LOL

If this isn't a reason to homeschool or send your kids to a private school then nothing is. There is no excuse for forcing this filth on our kids.
