I can only tell you about myself. I joined as a referral. But just forgot about it for some months. Then one day I read the digest that I was getting in my inbox and liked one particular discussion. I replied to that and then just continued. Now I am continuing here because I am enjoying the discussions and like the friends that I have made here on mylot. Like the intereactions we have through our discussions everyday.

Ha ha, I joined because I stumbled upon a discussion I liked & wanted to respond to - & found out you can get paid for this later!! lol So it was not a referral, not primarily for money (but it is a nice thought to get paid for what I did elsewhere anyway!!) I love the variety of different discussions & things to comemnt on... :) It makes me think & form my opinion on things better... :) But I agree people may come for all sorts of reasons & stay for #3 & #4! :)

Well, yes, there are a lot of people signing up to be a New member of myLot every day. Might even be one coming in while I am typing back to this discussion right now. Problem is most of them will choose not to be active, or post one or two on here, and then feel the money is not worth it, and then leave. Most of the people who come in here will be from a Referral, and then there will be those who might find this from a link somewhere, or by accident. But unless you choose to keep active, what good is being in here? If they took time to only show the number of people active in here right now, I wonder if it would be over 1000?

AS of my study about mylot offocurse the number of people signing in is increasing but i have noticed many of them are not active and may be only 50% of the total will be actively involved. For me, iam here because i enjoy participating in discussion, friends and offcourse earning some cents too. I feel all the four option will suit as to why people join here.

Hello friend I totally agree with all the reasons you have specified here. I won't lie -- when I first joined mylot my only motive was to see how can we earn money here. Secondly after doing regular mylotting I understood that it's a platform for making new friends all over the world. Money is just a profit for interacting with friends

It's one good site to express one's feelings on different matters...it's a forum where you don't really have to agree with what others have to say, yet your response is always appreciated. Well...there a lot of people who apart from a desire to earn cash are much interested in the forums and discussions going on in here.They do join it as a referral and staying here to remain in touch with their friends as well...I guess.
