How much do you mow and how often?  

i mow once a week if the rain comes down on the grass.if not,than i do mow yard every other week.

During a normal summer I would have to mow my lawn once a week. But this summer since it was so dry here and we got little rain, I only had to mow the lawn once a month.

I love mowing the grass. It's my favorite chore, and I usually won't let my husband do it, except for a few places where I'm afraid to ride the mower. We have about 2 1/2 acres, and it takes a few hours to cut. I do the whole thing on the riding mower. I have one of those weed whackers that you have to pull the string on, and sometimes I can start it, and sometimes I can't. I usually let my husband do the weed whacking, because it's kind of heavy, and whenever I try to use it, I usually end up cutting something down that I didn't want to, even though I try to be careful. If we have a lot of rain, the grass grows fast, and I have to cut it every 3 or 4 days. Usually though, I can get by with cutting it once a week. My husband and I refer to our mower as the RV, because it's so much fun for me to go around and cut the grass.

I have lived in an apartment for the last 10 years so I have not had a lawn to mow. Before that we lived in a house with about a 1/2 acre yard. I didn't mind mowing the lawn when the weather was nice. When it got hot then I would mow in the mornings.

We mow every week. Sooner, if we've had a lot of rain. This time of year, it should start slowing down a little. Thank God, the kid's usually do it!

We live in an apartment...no mowing for us!

I live in an apartment so never. Also most people in my area have that grass you have to lay. I don't think it requires mowing I know I never see anyone mowing my moms.

About every two weeks or as needed.

We have just over 5 mowable acres at our home. Most of it can be mowed with a riding lawn mower also- There is a Big side hill that we push mow- and that is a chore! Up and down- It gets mowed in different sections- Closest to the house- once a week- the other land down by our cabin- every 10 days or so—depending on how much rain and sun we get. We have a zero turn mower and 2 other John Deere riders- Takes just about 4 hours to complete the whole yard.—Used to be over 7 – then we bought the zero-turn!
