a problem with drive d: or the dvd/cd-rom drive

Can anyone help me to enable my drive d.I cannot open the drive,and when i check the properties;it says no media,partition is not applicable,the volume is o,and there is another o i forgot.I'm not using it for 1 month,and when i try to play a dvd movie i can't open it.
