| | | | | | 1.  Hmmmmm (1402) | 11 months ago |  I think that a lot of people will tell you that Circus Circus is the most family-friendly resort, but even if I had kids, I would not stay there. It's a complete madhouse, and there's just no way to make your way through the dome without getting stepped on or pushed. Remember learning manners when you were a child? Apparently no one teaches those anymore.
When people say "family" vacation, I think that sometimes what people really MEAN is child-focused rather than fun and enjoyable for the ENTIRE family. I am going to assume that you mean the ENTIRE family, so I am going to recommend Mandalay Bay. People wait in line to get into the pool area in the morning because of all of the features the pool area has. Sure, take a ride down to Circus Circus, but I would do it at the end of the trip to avoid the whining about how that's the only place the little ones want to go. There are plenty of other casinos that have family friendly attractions, and you can't hit them all in one day.

Cirque du Soleil's Mystere is a perfect example of something that is enjoyable for the whole family. If it were to receive an MPAA rating, I would expect it to be rated G. I believe it is also the least expensive Cirque show there is. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you add it to your agenda. | |
