it's been years since i have this urge to go back and visit davao city... not that i haven't visited the city this year, in fact, i was there last may...
there were not so nice things that happened in davao which made me not wanting to go back... but just recently, before, i had this sort of get-together with my batchmates, i remembered how lovely davao was while i was struggling those adolescent years...
i remember having this sort of book club open to every book lover in the city... ok, all i remember there were two book clubs -- the book worm and the reader's haven... i was privilege enough to have access to the book worm because the owner of the said shop/club was the parents' of my mother's student... ;)
way back in HS, my batchmates prefer going to the reader's haven instead because the said club provided new paper backs... which is i guess ok... oh well, just the mere thought of that, it's as if there's this force telling me to go back to davao... hehehe!
i might think of going back though, just to visit... and perhaps take a look of the reader's haven (i believe that it has improved its services and all)...
that's one of the awesome things growing up in davao city... the place seems so safe for kids and quite conducive for developing intellectual habits...
so tell me about your davao city book club experience???
