Migraine |
|
Today, I am suffering with migraine. As much as I would like to be on a sick leave but I can't since I've got so many things to do at work. Do you have any tips how to deal or heal this migraine? Any advice are appreciated. Thanks.

1. katydidmc (138) | 3 years ago | I find that staying out of fluorescent lights as much as possible works a bit. I also take 2 kinds of pain killers, an hour apart, so they don't interact as badly in the brain. Try taking 2 advil, followed an hour later by 2 tylenol. it should ease the pain somewhat. Unfortunately, only time and sleep truly work for me.:(

2. dopey22girl (3140) | 3 years ago | Do you get migraines very often? I am asking because my aunt used to get bad headaches all the time, and she never went to the doctor because of it. She ended up dieing of a brain anneurism, and she was only 36. I'm just asking because if this happens to you often, you should get it checked out, before it's too late. As far as advice...the only thing I can think of to help you right now is Tylenol. Good luck...hope it gets better!

He treated me for the sinus infection and the migraine went away on it's own. Now all I do when I feel a migraine coming on I take otc sinus pressure & pain med fist. You may want to check that out if you have allergies. You could ask your doc about migraine meds next time you go. I take Zomig and it really works for me.

| 4. prettygaby (16) | 3 years ago | I drink coffee when I'm having an attack, some say it triggers their migraine, but for me its the opposite. I feel a bit relaxed and the tension is somehow relieved. I also take two tablets of Advil before the migraine is full-blown so I make sure I have them in my bag at all times. I've tried all other common pain medications and so far, only Advil works for me.
