"The Warren County Humane Society received this Seal of Approval through Local Independent Charities of America (LICA)........ The Seal is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness....... Of the million charities in the U.S., it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or five percent, meet or exceed these standards, and of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this seal.".....This is great news.....Tuesday September 18, 2007...Warren Times Observer....

Nice to hear that it's a Humane Society that has recieved "Best In America" for charities. I'm a huge animal lover, have a lot of respect and compassion for them, so this news puts a big smile on my face.
