Downloading Toolbars

I visit a number of sites which offer a download of their toolbar. If it is a site that I visit on a regular basis I feel this is a plus. I have noticed that whenever I attempt to download a toolbar to Firefox(my main browser), it will often be hijacked by IE browser. This happens even when I have IE disabled. I would like to have the myLot toolbar in Firefox, but I can never accomplish this. Has anyone else had this problem?

I very rarely download toolbars. Some of the time, they are more trouble that they are worth. They take up too much room as well... Sometimes less is more....LOL

You're right, Sheribabe, but I do like to have a couple for sites that I spend quite a bit of time on.

In some cases toolbars can be usefull, but in most cases they contain spyware, be careful of what you download.

my problem was there was a conflict with another one. Get rid of the other so you can add this one, mylot. See if that helps.
