He's A Hero-A Great story of Fallen Officer Erfle

Officer Erfle was a great hero among heros. He was killed by an illegal immigrant when Erfle and his partner stopped 3 jaywalkers and discovered one had a warrant. Erfle was a great hero and here is one of his amazing stories:
About a year ago Erfle had been chasing a gunmen. The gunmen stopped in front of a crowded school yard, parents and buses were dropping off elementary school children. The gunmen Erfle was persueing had an AK-47. Erfle knew that one bullet would rip through his bulletproof vest, but instead of shielding himself with his police vechile, or behind the gunmen, Erfle stepped dircetly between the AK-47 and the busy schoolyard. Thankfully, this event ended peacefully.
Officer Erfle is a great loss for Arizona; his family, his friends and even people that never even knew him. May he and his family remain in our prayers.

Not only a Hero but yet a very brave man.. For anyone to do something like this is a 10 star in my book mainly when children are involved.. He knew what it would cost in the end even with the jacket on.. God bless his family and i am they are in alot of peoples prayers.. Thank you for sharing this amazing story with us..

it very sad to hear that a great officer like him is gone..Arizona still needs him and he had always done his role as an officer..i don't know anything about him but i see that he is indeed a hero..saving lives and protecting peace..what a great loss..

Yes, he is a great loss for everyone; whether people knew him or not. And he was a great officer; the deifintion of what a cop should be. :(

We've really lost a fine one. The one thing that will sicken me though is that it won't be that prominent on the news and some outlets might even try to spin it in a sick manner. Let me put that aside though. My heart is heavy over another loss especially a great person like this.

Yeah, it is a terrible loss and I hate that things like this has to happen. I read the story of him in the newspaper, but I also doubt that the tv news will say anything about it. They usually skip over stories too fast to mention things that matter.
