 I am not changing my picture until I lighten this sucker out! My hair was supposed to go brown but it ended up black! I have been dying my hair since I was 12. I have been every color I can think of but this is my first really bad mistake. I have seen it on television where someone went to dye their hair and it ended up green but never had that happen until now. It is so dark it almost looks blue.
The boys say it great for Halloween though, I look like a witch. AHHHHHH!
Have you done anything to your hair that was a big mistake?

The only thing though, is I'm blonde by default and as such my eyebrows are blonde too.
Now I know that it's kinda dangerous to dye your eyebrows yourself, becuase they're near your eyes... so I just left them blonde.
So I had striking black hair with blonde eyebrows.
One of my good friends saw me out at the shopping centre one day and she burst out laughing when I got near.
After she composed herself a bit, she told me that from a distance it simply looked like I had no eyebrows at all lol.
So yeah.... not a great look.:D
I'm sure yours doesn't look as bad as you think though.

Though I have light brown brows that can really go with pretty much any natural looking colors. I think after a few washes or a few dozen washes it will lighten up to a nice dark brown which is what I was going for. Hope it will look okay then. I will change the picture then and not before hand. HEHE Thanks for posting! | |

Maybe I am better at just doing it myself but staying away from dark brown, cause it went black. I washed it three times since I started the post this morning HEHE It has lighten a tiny bit but the sucker is still black. HEHE Sorry to hear about the green hair. I guess those shows weren't fooling! | |

| raychill (3493) | 3 years ago |  Yeah, I cut my hair myself too. I think it's better when you do it yourself because you can make it how you like it. Plus, you have no one else to blame other than yourself. You know? Plus it costs a whole lot less money! Even dying it at home. I spent like 90 dollars when I got my hair dyed green... and about 10 bucks at cvs on my way home where I re-dyed it to a real blonde!
