Christmas Cookies

I like to bake cookies. And I always do that for my kids and family even it's not for celebration of any holiday. So of course, every Christmas I always have cookies made by myself. My family favorite cookies are cheese cookies and pineapple cookies,so those cookies always there on top of the table when it come to Christmas party.

I love those plain old sugar cookies that are cut into different shapes like stars and Christmas trees, and sprinkled with red or green sugar sprinkles. Of course, I have to have brownies too.

I have to make shortbread cookies. This is the only time I make them because they are so rich and so buttery and if I did not put them in the freezer, and only take a few out at a time, I would eat them all up. I also have an almond bar recipe that is good. Have it on my profile page, but that I make more often for company as well as fudge brownies, but that is not a Christmas recipe.

I usually bake bake (don't fall of your seat!) it is on thing that I like doing in the kitchen. I like ginger cookies and shortbread, but this yeat it is going to be so different for me I don't know what we will do in the UK.

I always do a lot of baking at Christmas. I couldn't imagine not baking around the holidays. I usually make ginger bread men, holiday rice krispie squares, shortbread, and rocky road. Not quite sure what rocky road has to do with christmas but my mom made it every year as a kid and it just kind of stuck with me! PurpleTeddyBear.

i guess mine would have to be ginger bread cookies, and the chocolate oatmeal cookies. those are my fav's
