noodles

It is too difficult to name a favorite pasta. Different sizes, shapes, and textures lend the noodles to different dishes. I do like the chewiness of bow tie pasta though, very much.

Noodles are traditional food in our society in Pakistan . We cook it on special occasion of Eidul-fitar. Every family arrange a beautiful and tasty dish of noodles. We use sweet noodles with paste of cream and milk on them. We also call it "SHEER KHURMA". Salty instant noodles are also tasty. Children like them very much and I use to cook them very nicely.

Hello acmepride. My favorite noodle is yakisoba. It's a Japanese fried noodles with cabbage, green peppers, onions, carrots, meat and sea food. Yakisoba is available in any Japanese restaurant because it's a very popular menu. Actually, I have lots of favorite noodles but I think this one is the best. I love pancit too!

I do loved ordinary noodles of Ramen and it is made in japan and we could find it in our daily store anywhere of the country......

I have yet to meet a noodle I didn't like and it sure is hard to pick just one as a favorite, but I guess it would be the Soba (buckwheat) noodles with yam flour. The other one I like is hard to find, I should say impossible here in the desert, but we can sometimes find it in the San Francisco Bay Area if we make a special trip to 2 or 3 Asian markets. It is made of sweet potato flour and cooks up translucent. It is a skinny spaghetti shaped noodle the size of angel hair pasta, but when cooked looks very different. They come in a big bag and are hard to break, but have to be broken to fit into a pan. If anyone knows the name of these please help me out. I think they are sometimes used for Mai Fun, but they are different than rice sticks.

Kokkein noodles are very nice in TOM YUM SOUP.

Pasta and noodles are always my favourite, but noodlewise, I don't know many types. I'm sure I would like them all though, cheap junk foods like pot noodle are alright, and I do like Super Noodles in chicken flavour, mmm.

before, i really like eating Lucky Me Pancit Canto (available here in the Philippines), but when i started to lose weight and be smart and analyze the Nutrition Facts, i mean why trade eating half rice with a deck size fish fillet or 2 cups of veggies and 1 cup of fruit and fruit juice for this junk? you have the same calories but you have maximized your nutrition. and since you ate loads of fiber, you can even lose pounds since fruits and vegetables has that negative calorie effect.

hi,acmepride,i love the noodles made by myself.when i knead,put several eggs into the flour,then the noodles will be very delicious. you can only taste it in my home.LOL

probably would have to say egg noodles. i like the really thin broad egg noodles or the fetticiune noodles they are really tasty in the right dish. one of my favorites that i make uses the broad egg noodles used to use the extra broad ones and i found that the thinner broad ones work alot better.
