laureat or buffet?

That's really quite a good alternative, sara03, especially since, as you've aptly stated, "it develops a lot of intimacy than standing in the que in restaurents."That being said, though, if your were to choose only between a laureat and a buffet, what would you most likely pick and why?

Perhaps buffet would be the best way to go, provided, of course, that your mom isn't around. lol...
You must really be longing for them already, considering that, as you've acknowledged, you "don't see them much today and more so spending time with them."Given that, I feel that it would really be best to eat out, be it a buffet, laureat, or whatnot, once you get together again.

It seems like the things offered at buffets are high fat items. Maybe its just the ones I have been to but I always see a shine of oil on the meat.

Yeah, the fat and oil are perhaps not really good for our health and, as such, we should truly be wary of such, if ever we intend to have a buffet.

I like eating at Golden Corral, It's a buffet. They do NOT use MSG nor any seasoning in the food. You have to put it in yourself. No salt, No oil, and they have lots of items for diabetics. Their steak is cooked to order on a grill.They have baked chicken, ham, and baked fish. The salad bar has lots of different salad mix and they have no sugar apple pie, chocolate pudding and a few other good desserts. It' a great place for people with diabetes to eat.

Also, some buffets leave their food out too long, and they spray chemicals on the salads to keep them looking fresh.

Golden Corral really seems to offer a lot of tempting dishes, which I would definitely like to have a taste of. If I may ask, though, exactly where is it located?

Don't you think, though, that even if it's a formal occasion, it would still be better for your guests to walk to the buffet table every once in a while, if only to help in the digestion of the food they've eaten?;)

Out of curiosity, when you say that, "Normally I prefer 4 courses meal," you're exactly referring to what kinds of courses?

You sure must be very warmly hospitable and happily accommodating to your guests, Madona1, especially considering that you even personally want to know what your guests like individually and make them feel your hospitality.

Someday, I would surely want to be treated to a personally prepared breakfast/lunch/dinner by an amazing host/hostess like you.

I fully agree that it would seem better to provide more food choices for your friends and family, and buffet would definitely perhaps offer more food than laureat.

Oh well, if it in terms of cost, I guess laureat can save more money. It is because in buffet it will be an eat-all-you-can style of dining, while in laureat, you can just have kinds of food that is what exactly for a serve.LOL But of course in laureat you can still eat all kinds of food serve but not that as many as you can.:D
