about MIT selling computers for kids. I read that MIT is selling computers buy 1 for $399 and get 2 one is for a child in an undeveloped country and the other one you can keep for yourself or donate to a child. I think this is a good thing to an extent. 1 being if the country is undeveloped then how are they going to be used? Would schools be a big part of this problem also? I know that a lot of us are thinking why would I donate a computer to a foriegn country when there is so many here that go without. Well I believe in everone having the chance to succeed but on the other hand schools play a good part in life and I think that they should first start there and then add on to the goal. I think that MIT has a great thought but needs improving. What do you think? hugs
