I'm looking to use a USB hub to connect a PC to a USB - enabled Fax Machine / Printer / Scanner located 25 Feet (6 Metres) away without loss of signal strength

You should check for the best one available in the market
Check as to, what all options are available
ie., wireless or by wire etc

well buddy there is nothing to look for a usb hub because it doesn't matter which brand you are purchase you can purchase any hub in the market...it doesn't matter it is just to connect ..ENJOY!!!!
