Do you have brother/sister who's considered the "black sheep of the family?"

Do you believe that among the brothers and sisters, there is always someone who is strayed and considered by many as "the black sheep of the family"? Do you have a brother/sister who are once labeled as such? How did you or the whole family help her/him go back to the right way of life?

Gladly not. I also don't think my parents were ever considered the black sheep of the family. However, I think my Dad's eldest sister was once considered that. She partied a lot (didn't get drunk, but she danced a lot and at that time parents were still strict, so girls who went out all night long to dance were considered "bad" girls). I remember my Dad telling me the story when my grandpa got angry at her and hit her with a chair until the chair broke down, but she didn't even shed one tear. She didn't even flinch. I'm glad to say that she's outgrown that title now. It was just during her teenage years. ;-D

In most cases, people usually behave indifferently during their teen years. Peer pressures is just so strong at that time and it somehow influences their decision in almost everything. I'm glad that your Aunt was able to get over with it.

Nobody, unless the situation becomes different. No more accusing or abusing toward him/her. Then he/she step by step open his heart and mind to others. Black sheep is a person who always been pushed to the corner, but he/she almost did not want to prove by him/herself, but let the overall reality and time to do so. Even a rebel type, sometimes stay calm and analyze the problem, and made the finest decision when he had the real proof. In the end, he/she is the one who smile at last.

I can't agree more with you! You are indeed right! Sometimes, when people feel that they are pushed so much on a certain thing that's the time that they tend to separate themselves or show any rebelious attitude. In most cases, kids do bully things because they want an attention from their parents, family, friends, etc.

I think I was considered the black sheep of the family, but only because I didn't fit the mould of wanting to get married and have kids, I am mega independent and I love a good time, so sometimes people who want to live life a little differently get called a black sheep, black sheep are ok...

I understand you lila! I am also a very independent woman when I was single but when I got married everything changes because there is already someone whom I need to share a decision with in everything. Well, I don't regret marrying my husband because I love him so much but the transition is a bit difficult for me. I am just 4 months married and sometimes I am still acting very independently. hehehe
