Has anyone tried Zyban did it work for you?

I quit smoking in Feb. of this year. Chanax, I think thats how its spelled, but you have to get it from your Dr. I quit within a week!! Good luck!

DON'T DO IT. Use the patch or the gum or whatever, do not use Zyban. Zyban is bad for you, so bad they actually add anti-depressants to it to try to counter-act the effects it has. Tt causes psychotic eposides and that is not just a possible side-effect, it happens, I've seen it. I had an ex that took Zyban and lets just say I learned how to hold a door shut when a 180lb man is trying to come through it at you, it's not easy, and I'm probably only here now because my roommate came home and started throwing furniture down thehall at him to get him out opf the apartment and away from me. Not that the guy was a good person to start with but the Zyban definitly made it worse. I don't even think there was a fightm just a spontaneous blow-up.

It worked for my mom and she was a chain smoker. She said is made cigarettes taste nasty and she just didn't want them anymore. She managed to quit smoking for a little over a year. She started smoking again because she went through a bad break up and was concerned about gaining weight. Crazy reasons to start back after all that hard work for a year but oh well. Hopefully one day she'll stop smoking again. Good luck to you!

i know lots of people whom have tried zyban and some of them it worked and others it hasn't. i also know of someone that used clanadine ( i think thats how you spell it) anyhow she took it for 10 days and she hasn't smoked in almost 20 years now
