We usually get the residu of hurricanes. We live about one hundred miles from the coast, and we depend on the rainy season that accompanies the hurricane season. Unfortunately, for the past couple of years, we have not had many hurricanes and we have a huge rain deficit. In fact, we are experiencing a horrible drought. I so wish that a hurricane would come. Of course, I would hope that said hurricane wouldn't cause too much damage to other people, but that's not likely.

No I don't. Just like you, I live in the Philippines and as far as I know, we don't experience hurricanes here. Typhoons visit our country but not always, right? I am happy that I don't live in such countries where typhoons, hurricanes and whatever calamity is frequent because its more dangerous than living in countries not having typhoons,etc...

Meemingnew, I understand that you live in the Southern Philippines where typhoon seldom visit and you're very lucky for that. There are places in our country where typhoons are a regular visitor. Batanes is one place that is always battered by these typhoons.
Thank you for responding.

Hello there. Singapore does not experience any natural disaster including typhoon and hurricane. I feel very lucky to be living where i am now. Whenever i read reports of victims of natural disaster, i feel very sad for them. Mother nature can be cruel at times.
