Anybody here who have read poems of Kahlil Gibran? My favorite is his collection of poems in his book entitled The Prophet. It is considered as the most famous work of religious inspiration in the 20th century. The book has 28 chapters and every chapter speak about certain topics of man's life like love, houses and children. My favorite is chapter 3 which is about marriage. How about you, which chapter struck you most?

Kahlil Gibran was introduce to us way back in High School as a book report. As young as I was I was struck by his concept about Children. That's my favorite part. Till now I still have the book with me. Whenever I have the time I do read it. Now that my kids are big, I let them read it as well. I also have another book of his which is "Night and Day".
Just recently I posted an excerpt of his thoughts on children here in mylot. And I'm very happy that they were able to appreciate it.
Happy reading.
