How would you like your burial to be like?

I have put in writing for what I want for my funeral, I found a funeral parlour that has a beautiful chapel type area but I am having a friend of mine to speak at mine as it will be a non-religious funeral, I have my favourite song on tape ready and the parlour I have chosen has a beutiful area outside the chapel area where refreshments will be served and it even has a bar up in the corner then I have asked my musician friend to later put on a concert with all my muso friends and friends through life.

I'm not going to be buried. I'm going to be shot into space. Just cremate me and shoot me into space.

Sigh... but if I have to be realistic, a simple ceremony will do. I don't want any sadness though. I've made it clear I want some laughter and smiles at how much joy I've brought my family and friends.

i like to have a happy smile too from people because death is an unavoidable no one can escape so since i have finish the journey thats why everybody should be happy

I want people to have fun, joke and enjoy themselves. I know that's weird, but that's how I live my life: in happiness. I don't want people to say "Well she's in Heaven" yes I will be in Heaven, but everyone says that about everyone even the bad people, I want people to acknowledge that I am happy with Jesus and the family I've lost.

I once read a story about a woman whose dying wish was that other people who came to her funeral wear colourful clothes in order to celebrate life. She wanted those people to enjoy the life that they still had instead of mourning over hers.

That really inspires me! Maybe my dying wish would be the same: asking people to wear colourful clothes. I wouldn't mind that my loved ones cry, but I don't want them to cry too long. I want them to be able to let go of me after their mourning period's passed.:-)))

I would like to be cremated, with no service. I understand if my family would want a small memorial service, but I prefer no service. And I want to be cremated because it is cheaper and because I don't want there to be a place where someone can come and mourn me. My hope is that everyone would be able to move along easier in life if there was no designated place of burial.

I want to be cremated and my ashes thrown into the sea.lol!prety dramatic.

i don't know... i don't want to think about it as of now... but yeah we all will go through this thing.. so i would want it to be not so "full of crying scene" no sad songs.. i want to hear happy songs, my favorite songs to be played and also i want all my friends to speak during the burial... that's all
