Best Responses / Responding To Posts To Your Discussions

Do you find that being awarded "best response" or that replying to each individual response to a discussion you started tends to increase your earnings? I personally don't have a problem with the pay rate here or anything. I just noticed my earnings one day with a "best response" were considerably higher than they were the previous day when I had close to the same number of posts, so I was curious as to whether there really was a connection there or if best responses really did carry any kind of significance. When I start a discussion, I tend to not reply to each individual response. I read them all, and I apologize to those who responded and may have been respecting an individual reply... I have seen many posters who always respond to those who post in their discussions. Is there any sort of advantage you get from doing this? Thanks in advance.

I do not think there is any connection to getting awarded best response and your earnings.

I do think that getting a "Best Response" award boost your earnings. Mylot pays us depending on the quality of our posts. I think if our response is selected as the best response, then it is a quality response, thus it must mean that mylot is paying us more for it, right? I haven't noticed that it affects the earnings to get a "best response" or several of them. Nor does replying to the responses to your own discussions seem to increase earnings. All that I have noticed is that earnings are considerably less the last couple of months than the were the previous couple of months just after I joined about four months ago.
