| Starting on Night Photography  | | | |  Hello. I am a night person. I love the cityscape at night and I like star gazing.
I also love photography ... but I still have a lot to learn. I attended photography classes and got to know the basics, but it left out A LOT of lessons and tips for someone who wants to dive in night photography.
What I have right now is an analog semi-pro SLR camera. It works well but then it lacks the handiness of digicams (not to mention films and developing is such a pain). Also, it doesn't give good results when I take pictures at night.
I plan to buy a digicam but I think it will not be sufficient, so I am just wondering if you guys can suggest a digicam, lenses, and other stuff that I will be needing for this? Thanks!!!

I take alot of photos because its my hobbie and I take at night to.
I use a Nikon D70 and hawe several lenses but most of the time for the night photo I use my 55-200 lens then I hawe a tripod.
I try difrent settings when I take the photos and it is always long time so I dont hawe the flash.
