collecting disney movies

i'm collecting all the classics for my daughter. i like the older movies more than the new ones. i find the new ones inapropriate. anyway we now have over 50. i didn't realize there were that many disney movies. i'm still missing some and some are hard to get due to the disney vault. anyway have you collected the old disney movies for your kids

Hubby and I don't have any kids but we still collect disney movies and now have 40 of them. I love disney and always have and started collecting the movies about 15 years ago. I have a few more to get and in time I'll get them. Have you thought about checking the pawn shops for some? That's how I found a few of mine.

ya i found beauty and the beast last year at a pawn shop on dvd. what a find concidering it's in the disney vault and on amazon used they want like 80 for it and i got it for 15.

i've been able to get most. i'm missing a few like aristacats and i can't think of the other's off hand. i had a list somewhere.

Gee...many people consider Song(s) of the the SOuth inappropriate...my favorite is beauty and the beast.
My son pretty much lived on Disney movies...I tried to avoid network TV as much as possible.
We could be watching a perfectly nice show..then they would interrupt the show with disturbing news. So we went to VHS

my mom has saved all the disney movies since like 1990 and she recently gave them all to my son he has shelves and shelves of them they are on vhs she started getting them on dvd so.... he loves them and i think they are good for him to watch

Hello poppoppop111. When I was a kid I used to collect disney movies when they were still in betamax tapes. Remember them? There like the smaller version of the VHS tapes. Now, since our betamax player is not working anymore and you could hardly buy any in the stores, I couldn't even play our disney tapes anymore. Most of them are already lost. I plan to buy disney movies in DVDs. I really miss watching those movies. Good for you, you get to keep 50 movies. Thats a lot.
