| Well as you know I've been doing several discussions about animal experimentation, and one MyLotter was curious about if there was some list of which companies do test on animals for so-called cosmetic or other reasons...I came up on a few sites and I was amazed....I had been told Proctor and Gamble does for it's products, but when I looked at the list I was staggered that such companies as Arm & Hammer and Mead were listed...like WTF?? Why would Arm & Hammer test products on animals? For crying out loud, they manufacture of all things, cat litter! Isn't that a contradiction? And Mead??? As in the paper product company? Pray tell, why would they test also? Then you get to see just what products each manufacturer makes...and so many are common products I bet each one of us uses--like glad bags, toothpastes, and on and on--yeesh: On this website one can download the list as a PDF file: http://www.geari.org/comp...
