It's been getting warmer and sense than ladybugs have been coming out badly last year I had this same problem.. They were planted here they are the Asian lady bugs they do bite and do fly.. How can I get rid of these things besides sucking them up with the vacuum? Any suggestions??

I can't help you, but I just noticed the same thing yesterday. I went to open my screen door and there they were. My thought was, oh no, it is ladyy bug time again!

I don't see any today must to be wet out for them.. Normally when it's hot and sunny they come out and fly around.. One landed right in my coffee cup last night talk about yuck... Grandpa bob suggested soap and water that kills them.. I am going to take his suggestion and see if that works for me..

We also have the Japanese beetles that look like the common ladybug. With the cooler air & sunnier days they are showing up everywhere. It's mating time for them actually. A few drops of liquid dishsoap in a spray bottle with water shot on them works wonders killing them. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I also live in Wisconsin, and we have had this problem for over 10 years... All I can say is to vaccuum them, and catch them by hand, Dust alot, as They eat dust mites, Avoid using Sweet smelling scents as they are attract to sweet cents.. They have Lady bug traps with ultraviolet lights you can use.. but I do not have faith in that.. However... The best remedy I found is fly strips, Vacuuming... Sweeping. Best times to vacuum is late evening and early morning because then the bugs are all asleep huddled in the corner of the ceilings and walls.. And if you are going to be out of the house for a long time turn the thermostat down, as they are attracted to warm areas too... Most of the problem here starts when they harvest the fields.. The wind blows the lady bugs, and the first thing they land on surrounded by marshland and cornfields is our house ... They also claim they do not breed inside.. We discovered they do after we discovered baby lady bugs crawling out of our gingerbred houses once. So make sure any foods are sealed tight, wash windows, and dust alot.. I noticed keeping the house white glove test cleans means less invade.. but I have not found a way to get rid of them entirely.... However, I have thought about these people who sell lady bugs.. If we could only convince the Lady bug sellers to start a lady bug cleaning service! To come rescue us from these bugs! lol... I never had an allergy in my life these lady bugs have given me asthma... And all those years I recited Lady bug Fly away home! I did not mean for them to fly away to my home, even if I was a child and said to them bring back all your buddies! ... I had no idea! lol... - DNatureofDTrain
