I grew up in New England and did a lot of hiking in the White Mountains National Park. They have a great hut system. My family and I would go on "hut-hopping" trips in the summer. And with the summer camp I went to, we went on hikes in the Whites also.

Now that I have a child, we tend to stick to the easier trails. We enjoy hikes that lead to waterfalls. We've been to several in Georgia and North Carolina. | |

| | | 4. cmousseau (89) | 10 months ago |  I am very blessed to be living in a Valley which provides excellent trails up to two waterfalls coming off a glacier. Basically if you ever want a good hiking trail with great views, come down to Smithers BC and visit "Glacier Gulch". The view is spectacular.
I've only been living here for about 3 years now but it is beautiful.
I do also hike in National Parks and have hiked along the shores of various Lakes. It all depends really where I want to go and which scenery I want to engulf.
