This might be an upsetting news to you, christmas is actually winter solstice. It's not the day that Jesus was born. So chistmas is acutually a pagan festival. Also, it's actually not documented that what is the actual date that Jesus was born. And this is all facts. To me, christmas is just a money making scheme. But it lies all in the faith of a person. And I do agree that everyday should be a time for sharing, loving and caring, not just for christmas.

The meaning of Christmas is certainly not what it has become today. Im still trying to figure out how spending large amounts of money, buying gifts and expecting gifts in return and than bragging to people what you got for Christmas has anything to do with the Birth of Jesus Christ!!! I can't figure it out.

Well for every person I guess Christmas means something different but for me its a time of love and spending close times with the family. Although everyday should be treated like this Christmas just makes it alittle more special. Nothing beats the felling of sitting around with family and friends while it lightly snows spending times reminising about Christmas that have past. Also the big Christmas dinner is the best when you have all your loved one's in one spot sharing a meal that was loving prepared and sharing stories. So for me this is what Christmas means and I would'nt trade those feelings for anything in the world.

I have to agree with you. Christmas should be a year round thing, because we should celebrate the birth of our Lord every day, not just one day a year.
