ABC already gave a public apology. And it wasn't really Teri Hatchers fault, she was just reading a script...doing her job. I don't ABC thought that it would be offensive because if you pay attention to most of the shows and movies out there, one place or another is mentioned just like the Philipines was on Desperate Housewives.

Clande. I want to apologize to you. I meant to say this is my original post but forgot.
I'm not trying to be rude or insulting to you. I know that a lot of people are upset by what was said on the show. And I can understand how it can upset people.
What I said above, was just my input/opinion. I hope I didn't upset you with what I said. I hate to upset other users.

No offense but don't you think this has gone too far? The reason I say this is because it wasn't Terry Hatcher's doing, it was on the script in which she was just doing her job. However, we all have something about ourselves that we can laugh about. None of us are perfect. That includes ANY country and ANY race, religion, etc...etc. It would be much easier to laugh at ourselves than to take everything so seriously. I've made stupid mistakes and instead of crying, I find myself laughing because it feels better. Besides, crying gives me a headache. LOL

Go girl! I also did sign the petition. It was really a great insult that have hurt the heart of many Filipinos especially those in the medical field.
