Question about Thunderbird client.  | |  I use Thunderbird but I'm not advanced with it. And I have a problem with it. Everytime it downloads my mail from an external box it deletes themessages from that external mail box. It's troublesome because when I'm not in home I can access all the mails that were previously send to me. Is there an option that will make thunderbird not to delete these mails? Where can I find it? Help me please, it starts getting on my nerves:/

is to use IMAP. You need to get first the IMAP
details from the mail host

send and receive the emails will be downloaded from
the server to your local PC and automatically
deleting those mails from the server and therefore
when you check with other PC on the same email account then there is no way the downloaded mails be retrieved.
You may also try the suggestion given below to leave

| | | 2. Drakhan (232) | 3 years ago |  Check under the preferences for your external mail account. Somewhere in them, you should see a check box next to something like "leave mail on server." Check that and your external mail will stay put.
