My kids and I really enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the second one to come out either now that we know they are supposed to be making one. I wasn't even aware that they were making a sequel, but i think it's awesome that they are.

| 3. KumoriNeko (61) | 9 months ago |  I really think they'll make a 2nd part. Eragon IS a trilogy after all... And making the first movie without continuing the whole series is just plain stupid. They may not have started producing yet, but I hope they will soon. And yes, I agree, the Eragon movie was a better book-to-movie adaptation than the Harry Potter series. I love Eragon just as much as I love Potter.

5.  leanneg (116) | 7 months ago |  I'm not sure they will make a sequel:( they missed so many things from the book to even make the 2nd one make sense. Unfortualy there are more parts with Merta and Angela that weren't in the movie. Honestly I thought the movie was really good. I hope there is a second one and hope they figure out how to fix what they didn't put into the movie to make the or a sequal make sense. I really hope so, I'm not sure:(

| 6. greenscales (15) | 6 months ago |  A lot of people were really upset with the Eragon movie and it didn't make nearly as much as some thought it would. I don't think that there will be an Eldest movie, even though it is a trilogy. 20th Century Fox left out a lot of crucial info that is relevant to the plot, such as the Cripple who is Whole. I believe that they painted themselves into a corner and won't be able to create any more movies.

MassiveStunner (44) | 3 months ago |  I thought eragon was gonna be one of those dumb childrens fairy tails.....im glad i took my head outta my arse and watched the dag thing because this movie was sick. I love his new found powers and his relationship with the dragon, but as to a sequel i have no idea of such thing. In my opinion though i dont think there should be a sequel because i know you saw that dragon at the very end of the movie......that right there should have told you everything that is gonna happen now. That dragon is gonna kill everyone and everything with eeze..then its gonna take another 1000yr nap and let the earth repopulate...then go at it again:D
