do it yourself - do you?

Well, personally, I can't repair much, but my hubby can;)

He usually takes care of everything around the house and he used to take care of the cars. But any more, the cars are made that normal people can't work on them! You have to take them to a mechanic if there's anything major wrong with them. He does change the oil and do things like that, but for major car repairs, it goes to the shop.

i think no one can fix everything by himself, that's why there are classification of career. you know that we need not to learn everything by ourselves, as we have limited time and energy, we can only do what we want to do and what we interested. everyont could only by expert of his own subject.

There are a few things in the house that I can fix myself like changing bulbs or stopping a leaking faucet. For everything else, there's CASH. LOL

Most of the time if I try to fix something, say, well, just recently, a microphone, I end up breaking it. LOL

We repair almost everything ourselves. Either I do it or my dh does. One of us has to watch the kids so we never get to do projects together anymore. I think that some people need the repair person because they could hurt themselves if they tried to fix things like the electricity or furnace. The only thing we pay for is the roof because we both don't like heights. Other than that this is a DIY household for sure.

I am not able to repair so many things. I also know that getting the things repaired by someone in the market will be costly. So I am very careful about the use of all the things in household and even the vehicles. I alwys ask many questions to knowledgeable people and try to know the best ways to use these things so that they do not breakdown frequently and I do not have to spend money for getting them repaired.

Hello there. I do not know how to repair things. I am never good with operating or repairing appliances. In my house, my daddy is the one who repairs all the broken appliances. Most of the time, he manages to repair it. If he really can't repair it, we just assume the appliance is spoiled and we'll buy a new one. It's more economical to buy a new one than to hire a service man.
